[ Well, that sure was a day. When they'd made the plans for the fireworks, there had only been one person dead. Kuzuryuu. After that, Yuya...and then, finally, Levi, had died as well. There was no way for either of them to have predicted what would happen, and by the end of the day, Ibuki's almost ready to just go to bed. Peko, sitting at Kuzuryuu's grave...Levi, hanging there in the ride...Yuya, his face blown off like Malik's. Kuzuryuu, lying in a pool of his own blood.

The images are still there, and they're hard to shake.

But they'd made a promise, and Ibuki needs to do something else to get herself thinking of something else, or she'll give up. She's the girl who suggested a fireworks party, who suggested a welcome-back party, who always did her best to stay upbeat. So when Clash reaches the lake, Ibuki will be waiting there, some purloined candy shop snacks and two hot dogs (plus condiments) and drinks waiting, too. It's a mini picnic! ]
